TEKNOFEST 2021: Selçuk Bayraktar Visits Demirören Media Stand
The 7th edition of TEKNOFEST, held this year in Adana under the main leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was a success with the participation of 128 institutions, including public institutions, technology giants, universities, and media organizations. Among them, Demirören Medya also showcased its presence at TEKNOFEST held at Adana Airport. Radio D, broadcasting at the Demirören Media stand with frequency 104.0, entertained participants with various programs and events, providing an enriching experience.
One of the highlights of the event was the visit of TEKNOFEST Board of Directors and Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Selçuk Bayraktar, to the Demirören Media stand. Bayraktar engaged with the students of Demirören Media and Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, as well as other young visitors, garnering valuable insights and conversations. Many young people also had the opportunity to explore the newspapers published by Demirören Media.
Furthermore, attendees had the chance to immerse themselves in the TEKNOFEST experience with ‘Demircan,’ a robot designed by the students at Demirören Media and Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Atila Ertoğan, the school’s Principal, emphasized the importance of instilling the TEKNOFEST spirit in children and youth through knowledge competitions and interactive activities at the event.
Expressing the high demand for the stand and TEKNOFEST, Ertoğan highlighted the significance of showcasing the country’s technological advancements and motivating children to engage with technology in innovative ways.
Radio D Editor-in-Chief Fatih Uslu also shared his experience of broadcasting the thrilling atmosphere of TEKNOFEST, including air shows, to listeners. This year, Radio D set up a glass studio outside its live broadcast vehicle for the first time in Adana, allowing visitors to watch live broadcasts. Additionally, the team continued to produce podcasts for young radio enthusiasts, contributing to the excitement of ‘RADIO D TEKNOFEST.’
Overall, TEKNOFEST 2021 was a remarkable event that brought together technology enthusiasts, innovators, and industry leaders, promoting the spirit of creativity and exploration in the field of technology.
