Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu Endures a Painful Day: Current News on Milliyet
The elder brother of Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu, wife of Nation Alliance Presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, passed away today due to pneumonia and respiratory failure. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özdağ was taken to Yunus Emre State Hospital by ambulance but could not be saved. He was a retired lecturer from the Department of Mining Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Engineering and Architects and had been receiving treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
His funeral prayer will be held tomorrow at the Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Foundation, and he will be buried at 12:00. Both Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu are expected to attend the funeral.
