Semih Kaya Recounts Frightening Encounter in Seçil Erzan Incident
A new development has emerged in the Seçil Erzan incident as lawyer Ümit Karadağ presented a GPS device found in the bag of football player Semih Kaya to the prosecutor’s office. The device was among the precautions taken by Karadağ for bags containing money after 7 thousand dollars, 5 thousand lira, and a bank’s checks were stolen from his client’s bag in October 2022.
Karadağ clarified that the GPS in the bag given to Semih Kaya was not intended to track Erzan, but was a safety measure taken after the theft incident. The lawyer emphasized that the GPS device was not placed as a result of measures taken by the headmistress or the bank manager.
It was revealed that Semih Kaya discovered the GPS device in the bag given to him by Seçil Erzan when he was driving to Bodrum. Kaya notified Erzan about the incident, and it was later found out that the bag belonged to businessman Atilla Baltaş, who had previously brought money under the name of a private fund before Semih Kaya. Baltaş filed a complaint through his lawyer, stating that he had a loss of 5 million dollars.
For Semih Kaya, finding the GPS in the bag was a scary experience as he thought he was being followed. However, it was clarified that the device belonged to Atilla Baltaş, who was concerned about the bag being stolen again after it happened previously.
In a statement regarding the incident, Kaya mentioned that he only complained about Seçil Erzan due to the GPS situation. The revelation of the GPS device adds a new dimension to the Seçil Erzan incident, highlighting the complexity of the situation and the involvement of different parties.
