Almaty to Host Seventh Digital Almaty Forum on Industrial AI: Technologies for a New Era
The seventh Digital Almaty forum, themed Industrial AI: Technologies for a New Era, will be held in Almaty from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, 2025, as announced by the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry.
The forum aims to explore the revolutionary changes in the industry driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the future of global industry. With over 40,000 attendees expected to participate in the two-day event, Digital Almaty 2025 will showcase various activities.
One of the key events at Digital Almaty 2025 is the Industry 4.0 AI Battle, a competition to identify the best startup in AI. Additionally, an exhibition featuring Kazakhstan’s largest subsoil users, industrial startups, technology parks, and IT companies will be held to share experiences on projects in the IT ecosystem.
Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev stated, “The seventh Digital Almaty forum will provide a comprehensive business program focusing on AI integration into industrial ecosystems, economics and finance, ESG initiatives, medicine, education, and cybersecurity. The forum will showcase AI solutions that can revolutionize production, including the development of smart factories, modernization, and automation within Industry 4.0 frameworks.”
The previous Digital Almaty forum witnessed the signing of around 30 memorandums, including an agreement between Freedom Holding Corp. and the Executive Directorate of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. Furthermore, the Industry 4.0 Startup Battle awarded a total prize fund of $180,000.
Digital Almaty 2025 promises to be an enriching and transformative event that will highlight the potential of AI in shaping the future of industries worldwide.
