Six Detained in Göztepe Fans’ Celebration Brawl
An altercation erupted in Güzelyalı District as fans of Göztepe clashed with an unidentified individual following celebrations for their team’s promotion to the Super League.
The heated exchange escalated into a physical altercation, prompting the individual to seek refuge in a nearby workplace on Mithatpaşa Street. Employees at the establishment intervened to prevent the fans from entering, leading to a scuffle.
During the altercation, the business owner attempted to break up the fight with his motorcycle, only to be struck and injured in the head.
Authorities were alerted to the situation and dispatched police teams to the location. Following their arrival, six individuals were detained in connection with the incident.
