Small Cattle Producers Urged to Answer Butchers’ Call – BRTK
The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (KTEZO) and the Butchers’ Association have raised concerns about the availability of small ruminants for butchers in the region. According to a recent statement issued by KTEZO, butchers are facing difficulties in finding small ruminants for slaughter.
In response to this issue, KTEZO and the Butchers’ Association are calling on producers who have small ruminants in their dairy farms. These producers are advised to ensure that their animals are registered with an ear number and are ready for slaughter.
