Producers Given Opportunity to Submit Additional Declarations for Direct Income Support
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced that producers who made incomplete declarations for Direct Income Support are now able to submit additional declarations until September 19. This decision aims to address the grievances of small cattle producers who have underdeclared incentive payments within the framework of Direct Income Support.
According to the statement released by the Ministry, a one-day window has been opened for producers to submit their additional declarations. This opportunity will only be valid until the end of business hours on Thursday, September 19, 2024, and can be utilized only once.
Producers are advised to make their additional declarations to the District Veterinary Office to which they are affiliated. This process is crucial for ensuring accurate and fair distribution of Direct Income Support to small cattle producers.
This initiative by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources highlights the government’s commitment to supporting and protecting small-scale producers in the agricultural sector.
