Snow Motoid Championship Returns to Kayseri for 2nd Year
The World SnowCross Championship kicks off in Erciyes
Extreme sports enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the start of the World SnowCross Championship, and the countdown is finally over. The championship has begun in Erciyes, Türkiye, attracting some of the best SnowCross athletes from around the world.
Erciyes, known as one of the largest winter sports centers in Türkiye, is hosting the championship for the second time. Following the opening stage in Finland, the action has moved to Erciyes where athletes are facing off in hot competition and excitement on the cold snow-covered ground.
The final stage of the championship is set to take place on March 16, with nearly 40 athletes from 12 countries competing on challenging trails. Athletes from countries such as Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Estonia, Canada, and the United States will be vying for the championship title.
Last year, the championship reached an audience of 850 million people, and this year it is being broadcast live in 86 countries. Viewers can follow the races via D-Smart and D-Smart Go.
