SpaceX Successfully Deploys 28 Starlink Satellites from Florida’s Space Coast

SpaceX successfully launched another batch of Starlink satellites into orbit from Florida on Saturday night. The Falcon 9 rocket carrying 28 Starlink craft took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and deployed the satellites in low Earth orbit as planned.

After liftoff, the rocket’s first stage returned to Earth for a landing on the SpaceX drone ship “Just Read the Instructions,” marking the 19th successful launch and landing for this particular booster. This mission marks the 39th Falcon 9 mission of the year, with a significant portion of these flights dedicated to expanding the Starlink megaconstellation.

Currently, SpaceX operates more than 7,100 Starlink satellites and continues to add more to the network. The Starlink constellation is the largest satellite network ever assembled, with the goal of providing global internet coverage from space.

The successful deployment of these satellites is another step forward in SpaceX’s efforts to revolutionize internet access and expand connectivity around the world.
