Sports Competition Photo Exhibit at Ercan Airport
An exhibition of sports photography by members of the Turkish Cypriot Sports Writers Association is currently on display at Ercan Airport. The exhibition showcases approximately 100 photographs taken by 19 sports writers at various sports competitions.
The exhibition, located in the departures section of the airport, was established in collaboration with T&T Airport Management. T&T Airport Operations General Manager M. Serhat Özçelik expressed that they have included sports photography as part of their monthly exhibitions at Ercan Airport as part of their social responsibility projects.
Özçelik highlighted the uniqueness of sports photography as a separate branch of photography that requires special talent and effort. Each photograph in the exhibition holds a special meaning and provides visitors with a historical journey not only to the present day but also to the past.
Visitors to the exhibition can appreciate the artistry and storytelling captured in the sports photographs on display. This collaboration between the Turkish Cypriot Sports Writers Association and Ercan Airport provides a platform for showcasing the talent and creativity of sports photographers in the region.
