Spring Fieldwork Commences in Aravan District

Spring work has officially kicked off in the Aravan district of Osh region, as farmers are now busy planting the early potato variety Sagitta. This marks the beginning of the agricultural season in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, headquarters have been established at the local level to coordinate the spring work campaign. These headquarters involve representatives from regional, district, and rural administrations working together to ensure a smooth and successful agricultural season.
In addition, farmers in the Aravan district will have the opportunity to purchase up to 150 tons of fertilizers at a reduced price through Kapu company. This initiative aims to support farmers and provide them with the necessary resources to boost their crop yields.
As the spring work continues in the region, it is hoped that farmers will have a successful and productive season ahead. The planting of the early potato variety Sagitta is just the beginning of what promises to be a busy and fruitful period for the agricultural sector in Osh region.
