SSB issues R&D call for “Cognitive Electronic Warfare Methods”
The Turkish Defense Industry is calling for research and development proposals on “Cognitive Electronic Warfare Methods.” This call, named SAGA, will be opened during the 9th R&D Panel after the completion of the Cognitive Electronic Warfare Focus Technology Network (OTAG) studies facilitated by the Turkish Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) with the participation of relevant stakeholders.
These OTAĞ studies and R&D panels have been initiated by the SSB with the aim of localizing critical components in defense systems offered to the use of security forces and bringing advanced/breakthrough technologies to the country. As a result of these studies, the SAGA call 2023 has been opened in the field of Cognitive Electronic Warfare Methods.
The areas of focus within the scope of the Cognitive Electronic Warfare Methods SAGA call include Cognitive Radar Electronic Warfare, Cognitive Communication Electronic Warfare, Cognitive EO Electronic Warfare, and Cognitive IR Electronic Warfare Methods and their sub-titles. Applications to SAGA can be submitted until June 23, 2023.
The Turkish Defense Industry is continuously working to strengthen its national defense system by developing new and advanced technologies. The SSB has been successfully facilitating R&D panels and OTAĞ studies with the participation of relevant stakeholders to achieve this goal. The Cognitive Electronic Warfare Methods SAGA call is another step forward in this direction.
