SSB’s Latest Launch: 14 New R&D Projects

14 new R&D projects were officially launched by the Presidency of Defense Industries, marking a significant step in meeting the needs of the armed forces. The projects were signed into action at a special ceremony attended by President of Defense Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Turkish Armed Forces representatives, and various industry experts.

SSB President Görgün emphasized the importance of quickly industrializing and commercializing the technological knowledge acquired from universities and research centers. He believes that this will transform knowledge into economic and competitive power, thus driving the Turkish defense industry towards global leadership.

The collaboration involved in these projects is extensive, with thirteen contractors and subcontractors participating to reduce foreign dependency and increase the country’s R&D and technology competence.
