Veolia Energy Tashkent Clarifies Heating Season Start Amid Public Concern
Veolia Energy Tashkent, the primary heating service provider in the city, has addressed public concerns regarding the start of the heating season in the capital. With colder weather and prolonged rainfall affecting residents, many have been eager to know when they can expect the heating system to be activated.
Speculation on social media suggested that heating might not be available until mid-November, adding to the anxiety of residents. In response, Veolia Energy Tashkent’s press service confirmed that the heating will be turned on once the Tashkent city administration issues an official decision.
Furthermore, the company reminded residents that, according to a Cabinet of Ministers resolution, the heating season will begin after five consecutive days with an average daily temperature below +8°C.
“We will promptly inform you of the exact date when the heating system will be activated,” Veolia Energy Tashkent assured the public.
