State Reclaims 50 Hectares of Land in Kara-Kuldzha
Recently, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that at least 50 hectares of land in the Kara-Kuldzha district of Osh region have been returned to the state. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that an agricultural land plot, under the jurisdiction of Kara-Kuldzha aiyl okmotu, was illegally transferred to the ownership of a peasant farm.
After discovering this illegal transfer, the district prosecutor’s office took action by filing a claim with the court to cancel the title documents. This claim was successful, and the court ruled in favor of returning the land to municipal ownership. As a result, a land plot worth 25,050,750 soms was returned to the state.
