Prosecutor’s Office Recovers State Property in Osh Region
Bishkek, April 30, 2025 — The Prosecutor’s Office of Osh Region has successfully concluded an investigation into illicit land transfers, ensuring compliance with land and property legislation.
The inquiry revealed that two significant parcels of state property, including the House of Culture and a stadium, had been unlawfully transferred to private ownership. The House of Culture, situated on a 0.99-hectare plot in Zhany-Nookat village, and the stadium, encompassing 1.75 hectares in Frunze village, were found to have been misappropriated.
According to the press service of the supervisory authority, the value of the reclaimed property totals nearly 157 million soms, which has now been returned to state control.
This action underscores the ongoing commitment of authorities to safeguard public assets and uphold the integrity of property legislation in the region.
