State Regains Control of Illegally Privatized Kindergarten in Bishkek Center

Illegal Privatization of Kindergarten Rectified by Kyrgyz Authorities
In a recent development, an illegally privatized kindergarten has been successfully returned to the state in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. According to a report from the press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS), the kindergarten, which was previously on the balance sheet of the sewing factory Aigul JSC, was illegally withdrawn and sold to private individuals.
The SCNS confirmed that the owners of the social facility have acknowledged the illegality of their ownership and voluntarily returned the two-story building of the kindergarten to the state. This building has the capacity to accommodate 280 children and is situated on a 0.65-hectare plot of land with a usable area of 1,810 square meters at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Gogol Street.
Furthermore, the facility is set to be included in the City Hall’s plans for reconstruction as a preschool educational institution with the necessary infrastructure for its intended use. This action aims to ensure that the kindergarten serves its original purpose and benefits the community as intended.
The successful return of the illegally privatized kindergarten highlights the commitment of Kyrgyz authorities to uphold the rule of law and protect state properties from unlawful appropriation. This case sets a precedent for the responsible handling of such matters and reinforces the importance of transparency and accountability in property ownership and management.
