Stepfather arrested after 3-year-old girl found locked in dog kennel overnight

Doctors at the hospital immediately informed the Internal Affairs Department of the district, leading to the detention of the girl’s stepfather, 28 years old, who was found to have systematically inflicted harm on the child.
According to sources within the 24.kg news agency, it was revealed that the girl had been forced by her stepfather to spend the night in a kennel with a dog in the rain, resulting in her injuries. The police have opened a criminal case under Article 138 “Torture” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the child’s stepfather has been placed in a temporary detention center.
