Azerbaijan Strengthens Cooperation with Türkiye and Georgia in Financial Sectors
Azerbaijan’s collaboration with the financial sectors of Türkiye and Georgia is growing stronger, as stated by the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Aliyar Mammadyarov. Speaking at a regional conference on financial partnership in Washington, organized by the American-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, Mammadyarov highlighted the significance of regional cooperation and strategic alliances with the US financial sector for advancing cross-border trade, investments, and payment systems.
The CBA delegation is currently in the US for a working visit to participate in the meetings of the Spring Meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. This visit underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing its financial relationships on a global scale and furthering economic partnerships with key players in the industry.
