Student Treats for MPs: AML Delights

Students from Atatürk Vocational High School (AML) had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills by serving the products they prepared to Members of Parliament. The event took place before the Ministry of National Education budget was to be discussed at the General Assembly of the Republic Assembly.

Under the guidance of their teacher, Sergün Toyer, Food Technology Pastry students from AML presented their creations to the MPs. The students had the chance to interact with the lawmakers and receive feedback on their dishes.

Minister of National Education, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, also visited the stand where the food was served. He engaged in conversations with the students and their teachers, showing his support for the vocational education provided at AML.

This initiative not only allowed the students to gain practical experience in their field but also provided them with a platform to interact with policymakers. It is a testament to the importance of hands-on learning experiences in shaping the future workforce.
