Surviving 14 Days in the Jungle: A Search and a Tale
A man who went missing for 14 days while on a trip to Kastamonu has been found safe and sound. Hüseyin Ali, 62, was part of a group of around 30 people from Istanbul who were visiting the Ilgarini Cave in the Pınarbaşı district. Ali allegedly left the group while they were exploring the cave and was not seen again until he turned up at the house of an elderly citizen living in the Oruç District of Sümenler village. Emergency services were contacted after Ali appeared exhausted, and he was taken to a hospital for a check-up. It is believed that Ali survived his ordeal by eating plants and herbs that he found in the forest. Thankfully, Ali was found to be in good health and is expected to make a full recovery.
