According to reports, Selcuk D. threatened Yurduseven with the words “Don’t walk around here, bullets will rain on your head from above.” Yurduseven reacted angrily to the threat, stating that she had come to greet Selcuk D. and that his behavior was a “shame”. She also filed a criminal complaint against him with the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Selcuk D. was subsequently detained by the police and charged with “threat”. He was referred to the courthouse after giving a statement at the police station. Reports suggest that Selcuk D. may suffer from psychological disorders.
