
Swiss Goalkeeper Signs 5-Year Deal with Monaco

Switzerland Goalkeeper Philipp Köhn Joins Monaco
Baku, July 15 – Swiss goalkeeper Philipp Köhn has made a move to French league club Monaco from Salzburg, according to AP.
Köhn, who holds both German and Swiss citizenship, has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Monaco until June 2028. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The goalkeeper has been brought in as a replacement for Alexander Nübel, whose loan from Bayern Munich has expired. Köhn has previously played for Schalke, Stuttgart, and Leipzig, as well as representing Germany at the under-15 to under-18 levels. However, he made the decision to play for Switzerland moving forward.
During his time with Salzburg, Köhn achieved back-to-back Austrian Bundesliga titles in 2022 and 2023. Last season, he was honored as the league’s best goalkeeper.
