Bishkek and Kuala Lumpur in Final Stages of Negotiations for Direct Flight Route
Negotiations are currently underway in Malaysia for the opening of a direct flight route between Bishkek and Kuala Lumpur. The press service of Manas International Airport OJSC has confirmed this exciting development.
A Kyrgyz delegation is set to meet with Malaysian aviation authorities, major airline management, and representatives from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. During these discussions, the Kyrgyz delegation presented information on the growth of civil aviation within the country. They also confirmed the provision of the Fifth Freedom of the Air to Malaysian airlines, allowing them to utilize Bishkek as a transit point, and highlighted the tourism potential of the republic.
The Malaysian side has expressed their willingness to support their airlines in operating both passenger and cargo flights between the two capital cities.
