Tanzila Narbayeva’s Arrival in Bishkek
Tanzila Narbayeva, the Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, is set to participate in a significant meeting of the Central Asian Women Leaders Dialogue. The event will focus on the crucial topic of “The role of women in the economies of Central Asia: leadership to promote digital, social, and environmental innovation”.
The meeting will bring together delegations from the parliaments of various Central Asian countries, with key figures such as Deputy Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Daniya Espayeva and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Youth Policy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova in attendance.
In addition to the in-person participants, the delegation of Tajikistan, led by the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, Firuza Nurullozoda, will join the meeting online.
Upon her arrival, Tanzila Narbayeva was warmly welcomed at the airport by the vice-speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Jamilya Isayeva. The upcoming dialogue is expected to foster discussions and collaboration among women leaders in Central Asia, highlighting the importance of their contributions to the region’s economies and advocating for advancements in digital, social, and environmental innovation.
Through this gathering, these influential women leaders aim to pave the way for greater gender equality and empowerment in the region, paving the way for a more inclusive and progressive future.
