Tashkent and Vienna Enhance Bilateral Cooperation with 2024-2026 Program
The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Austria have recently solidified their partnership by signing a new cooperation program that will guide their bilateral collaboration for the next three years. During a meeting in New York, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg came together to formalize the agreement.
In a statement released on his Telegram channel, Minister Saidov underscored the significance of the agreement, stating, “We had a fruitful meeting with H.E. Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria. We signed a Cooperation Program between our ministries for 2024-2026, which encompasses priority areas of Uzbek-Austrian cooperation across all sectors. We also exchanged views on regional and global dynamics.”
The newly established cooperation program is designed to bolster the relationship between Uzbekistan and Austria in various fields such as diplomacy, trade, and cultural exchange. Furthermore, the ministers delved into crucial issues on both regional and international levels, showcasing their dedication to deeper involvement in global affairs.
