Tashkent Traffic Safety Department Encourages Public Transport Use for Park Visits

Today, June 1 – in connection with the International Children’s Day, traffic congestion is observed on the roads around parks and entertainment areas in the regions.

In order to reliably ensure traffic safety and prevent traffic jams, Tashkent city traffic safety department asked citizens to use public transport as much as possible when visiting parks, and not to stop and leave their personal vehicles in places that disturb others, in violation of traffic rules.

Traffic policemen were attracted to ensure traffic safety on the roads and around the parks where events are taking place.

“Our main goal is to ensure that today’s holiday events are fun and safe!” Traffic Safety Department said in a statement.
