Taxi Driver in Bursa Attacked and Stabbed by Passenger
Yunus Yüksel, a taxi driver in Bursa’s Mudanya district, had a terrifying experience when he was attacked by a male passenger with a knife. The incident took place when he picked up two passengers, one of whom was a woman, who wanted to go to Eskişehir.
According to reports, after driving the passengers to the Çepni District of the district, the male passenger suddenly attacked Yunus Yüksel with a knife, leaving him with approximately 20 stab wounds. The taxi driver fainted from his injuries, allowing the suspect to flee the scene.
Upon receiving notice from the surrounding people, the Gendarmerie and 112 Emergency Service team arrived at the scene. Yunus Yüksel was given first aid and then transferred to Mudanya State Hospital, and later to Bursa City Hospital for further treatment.
Currently, the taxi driver is receiving medical treatment for his serious injuries. Eyewitnesses have provided statements to the gendarmerie teams, who have now initiated an operation to capture the suspects.
It has been revealed that Yunus Yüksel, who is married, recently became a father just 20 days ago. The motive behind the brutal attack remains unknown as authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
