Chemical Mixture in Marmaris Apartment Hospitalizes 5 People
Five people were hospitalized after a chemical mixture occurred in an apartment in Marmaris, Turkey. The incident happened when the owner of the apartment, identified as HGU, was allegedly trying to force out tenants who had been asking for eviction. According to reports, he mixed chlorine with bleach and sprayed it in the apartment, causing harm to the people living there.
One of the tenants, identified as SB, rejected the allegations against him. He claimed that he did not use any such substances during cleaning and that the owner of the apartment was making false accusations against him. SB also mentioned that after the incident, HGU called him and accused him of mixing the chemicals.
The affected tenants, SB(53), DB(35), DB(25), YE(14), and NE(11), were immediately taken to the hospital, and their conditions are currently unknown. Meanwhile, HGU was taken into custody by order of the Marmaris Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the investigation of the case is ongoing.
