A car with a burst tire crashes into a bus stop, injuring a pedestrian
An incident occurred today at around 11.20 am on the D-100 Side Road in the Güzelyurt Neighborhood. The tire of a car with license plate 34 KGH 011 burst while driving in the direction of Edirne, causing the driver to lose control. The car first hit a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk and then crashed into a bus stop. Health and police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Police teams arrived at the scene and took security measures while initiating an investigation into the accident. The injured pedestrian was swiftly taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial medical intervention. Fortunately, a major disaster was avoided as the driver did not sustain any serious injuries.
Footage captured by a workplace’s security camera showed the horrifying moments when the car went out of control, hitting a pedestrian and skidding before crashing into the bus stop. Citizens waiting at the stop were captured running away in fear, with two individuals falling to the ground while trying to escape. These fearful moments were recorded on the security camera second by second.
