TezJet Airlines to Begin Regular Passenger Flights from Bishkek to Tashkent
Starting on September 3, TezJet Airlines, based in Kyrgyzstan, will launch regular passenger flights on the Bishkek-Tashkent route. The news was confirmed by Uzbekistan Airports, with the first flight scheduled for September 3, 2024.
The flights between Bishkek and Tashkent will operate four times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Travelers can expect to be flown on McDonnell Douglas MD-80 (M83) aircraft for this route.
TezJet Airlines, established in 2013, is a Kyrgyz airline that is headquartered at Manas Airport in Bishkek. While the airline mainly operates flights within Kyrgyzstan, this new route to Tashkent marks an expansion of their services.
Passengers looking to travel between the two capital cities will now have more options and convenience with TezJet’s new flight schedule. This development is expected to enhance connectivity between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, benefiting both tourists and business travelers alike.
