The App That Robbed Me of Seeing My Newborn

Erkan Oti, a car dealer in Ankara, recently experienced a nightmare after using a travel application. After picking up an Iranian national, Mahdıeh Naroueı Nasab, in his car, the two were stopped in Erzurum, where Nasab was found to be carrying drugs. Both Nasab and Oti were detained, with Nasab ultimately being sentenced to 9 years and 2 months in prison.
Oti was incarcerated for 10 months as he awaited trial. He expressed the difficulty of this time, stating that his businesses were closed, his wife suffered, and he even missed the birth of his child due to the false allegations. However, during the trial, it was proven that Oti was innocent, as the drugs belonged to Nasab, not Oti.
Following his release, Oti voiced his intention to take legal action against Nasab for causing him so much distress. He emphasized the harm suffered by himself and his family due to this unfounded accusation. He also noted that despite the official nature of the application used to connect with Nasab, he was victimized by the situation. Oti has vowed to fight for justice and hold Nasab accountable for the suffering he caused.
