The Car Burst into Flames as he Turned the Ignition
A man in Konya had a frightening experience when his car caught fire after turning on the ignition. Ali Y., a resident of the Üçgöz District in Konya’s Ereğli district, was getting ready to go to work when the unexpected incident occurred.
Around 10:00 in the morning, Ali Y. got into his parked car and turned the ignition, only to see flames suddenly erupting from the engine part of the vehicle. He quickly got out of the car and walked away as the vehicle turned into a ball of fire.
Thankfully, Ali Y. acted swiftly and reported the situation to the fire department. Firefighters arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames before the fire could spread any further.
Unfortunately, the vehicle sustained significant damage and became unusable as a result of the fire. Despite the frightening experience, Ali Y. was unharmed in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
