The First Turkish Astronaut Alper Gezeravcı and Team to Leave International Space Station
The eagerly anticipated departure of the first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, and his team from the International Space Station has finally been announced. Axiom Space, the company behind the historic mission, revealed in a recent social media post that the team will leave the station at 17:50 Turkey time.
During his remarkable two-week stay at the station, Alper Gezeravcı conducted a total of 13 different experiments, contributing valuable data to various scientific research endeavors. As the time approaches for their return to earth, the team is gearing up to board the Dragon capsule, which will carry them back home.
The re-entry of the capsule is anticipated to take place over the ocean off Orlando, marking the successful conclusion of this groundbreaking mission. The entire nation eagerly awaits the safe return of Alper Gezeravcı and his fellow astronauts, celebrating their remarkable achievements in outer space.
