“The Hu” Band to Perform Full Live Concert at Naadam Festival in Mongolia
Mongolian rock band “The Hu,” known for pioneering the “Hunnu rock” genre, is set to make history by performing a full live concert at the renowned Naadam festival for the first time in Mongolia. The highly anticipated concert will take place on July 10 at “Hit park Ulaanbaatar.” Following this performance, the band will also headline a full concert at “Ara fest 2024” in Arkhangai province on July 20.
“The Hu” made their mark with their first full live concert in Mongolia on May 24, 2019, and have since gone on to captivate audiences on more than 350 international stages since 2016.
Some notable achievements of the band include being the first Mongolian band to top the Billboard charts. Their album “The Gereg” reached the number one spot on the charts in April 2024, alongside famous Korean band BTS’s album “Map Of The Soul: PERSONA.” They kicked off their first international tour from Germany and their most popular song “Yuve Yuve Yu” currently has over 122 million views.
In recognition of their contributions to music and culture, “The Hu” band was honored with the prestigious first-class Genghis Khan Order by the Mongolian state on November 27, 2019. The band has also performed a staggering 350 concerts worldwide, with their longest tour lasting seven months in 2022.
