Armenian Accused Testifies in Baku Military Court

During the trial at the Baku Military Court on March 6, the accused Davit Allahverdiyan made a statement in his testimony claiming that he had cooperated fully during the preliminary investigation and was prepared to do the same during the court investigation.

Allahverdiyan expressed his gratitude for being treated humanely during his time in custody, stating, “The attitude towards me was humane and good, for that I am grateful. Now I am ready to answer all the questions.”

The ongoing criminal case involves several citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Davit Ishkhanyan, Davit Babayan, Lyova Mnatsakanyan, and others. They are accused of committing crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of a war of aggression, genocide, violation of the laws and regulations of war, as well as terrorism, financing terrorism, forcible seizure of power, forcible retention of power, and numerous other crimes as a result of Armenia’s military aggression.

The trial will continue on March 6 as the court seeks justice for the victims of these alleged crimes.
