The Ingenious Solution to a Ball-Playing Dilemma
Isa Fındık, a devoted father from Bartın, took matters into his own hands to ensure that his son, Burak, could continue his passion for football during the pandemic. Unable to attend football school for a year, Fındık decided to build an indoor football pitch in their home. With an investment of approximately 15 thousand TL and two months of hard work, a 65 square meter garage was transformed into a mini paradise for the young football enthusiast.
Equipped with tarpaulin, lighting, floor carpet, and goal posts, the indoor football pitch became Burak’s training ground for the past 3 years. A proud Trabzonspor fan, Isa Fındık decorated the outer walls of his house with the club’s colors and logo, creating a mini stadium experience for his son. The pitch, accessible through a connection on the balcony, offers a safe and convenient space for Burak to practice his skills every day.
Reflecting on the days when Burak used to play football indoors, breaking lamps and window panes, Isa Fındık shared his joy in providing a dedicated space for his son to train and enjoy the game he loves. Burak, a 14-year-old aspiring footballer, dreams of following in the footsteps of his idol, Sergio Ramos, and representing both Trabzonspor and the Turkish National Team one day.
With regular team training and individual sessions on the indoor astroturf pitch, Burak is focused on honing his skills and achieving his goals. Thanks to his father’s ingenuity and support, he now has the perfect environment to pursue his passion for football and work towards his dream of emulating his favorite player, Ramos. The indoor pitch not only serves as a training ground but also a place where family members and friends can come together to enjoy the beautiful game.
