Driver and Mother Who Caused Fatal Crash in Istanbul Escape to United States
A tragic incident occurred in Eyüpsultan on March 1 when a 17-year-old driver, identified as TC, and his mother, Eylem Tok, crashed into ATV type vehicles on the roadside with the car they were driving. The crash resulted in the death of Oğuz Murat Acı and left several others injured, including İ.G, TA, SK, and H.T. Following the accident, TC and his mother Eylem Tok fled Istanbul, first escaping to Egypt before eventually making their way to the United States.
Authorities in Istanbul have launched an investigation into the incident, leading to an arrest warrant being issued for both TC and Eylem Tok. Efforts to extradite the suspects back to Turkey are currently underway, with requests being made through diplomatic channels and Interpol.
