Nine suspects in the murder case of Narin Güran have been referred to court with a request for arrest, according to recent developments. Among those facing arrest requests are Narin’s mother, sister, two cousins, aunt, two workers of Muhtar Salim Güran, an aunt, and an uncle. Three of the suspects were also referred to court with a request for judicial control, while 10 others were released.

Hürriyet Newspaper Ankara Representative Hande Fırat shared details about the case on a live broadcast on CNN Türk. Arrest requests were made for the mother and sister on charges of being accessories to the premeditated murder, for two cousins, a sister-in-law, and two workers of Muhtar Salim Güran on charges of favoritism and destruction of criminal evidence, and for the brother-in-law and an uncle on charges of destroying criminal evidence.

Following the interrogation procedures at the courthouse, the reasons for referring the suspects to court have been announced. The suspects’ mother, Yüksel Güran (44), and her older brother Enes Güran (18) are facing arrest for participating in the premeditated murder, while uncle FG (42) is being charged with destroying evidence of a crime. Cousin MK, sister-in-law MG (46) and her daughter BG (19), aunt’s wife M.Ş.K., and the workers of arrested uncle Salim Güran, MSA (40) and RA, are accused of favoring the criminal and destroying evidence of a crime.

The case continues to unfold as the suspects face the legal repercussions of their alleged involvement in the murder of Narin Güran.
