The Russia International Economic Forum
The XV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” has kicked off at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center in Kazan.
The forum, as reported by the Tatar-inform news agency, opened with a plenary meeting focused on the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” in various regions of Russia. The meeting was led by the Director General of Russian Export Center JSC, Veronika Nikishina.
Throughout the forum, ministerial sessions will take place to discuss the growth of different economic sectors and address current issues in the industry.
One of the highlights of the event is the Kazan Halal Market exhibition, known as the largest halal platform in Russia, which will be held at Agropompark. With over 4.5 thousand products from around the globe on display, the exhibition provides a platform for numerous emerging brands to showcase their offerings. Visitors can expect to find a variety of items including food, cosmetics, clothing, accessories, and household goods.
The international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” has been a recurring event in the capital of Tatarstan since 2009. In 2023, the forum was granted federal status by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The forum is set to run until May 19, offering participants and visitors alike an opportunity to engage in discussions, networking, and exploration of products and services.
