Armenian Accused Reveals Strategic Goal of Military Aggression Against Azerbaijan
At a trial in the Baku Military Court on April 3, the accused Davit Ishkhanyan shed light on the purpose of Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan. Ishkhanyan, who identified himself as an active member of the Dashnaktsutyun party, stated that the strategic goal was to annex Karabakh to Armenia.
“I cannot talk about that period because I was very young then. But when I grew up, I already understood what the strategic goals and strategic principles were. The strategic goal was to annex Karabakh to Armenia,” Ishkhanyan revealed during the trial.
The next hearing in the case of representatives of the former Armenian separatist regime in Karabakh, who are accused of war crimes against Azerbaijan, is set to continue on April 4. Among the accused are 15 individuals including Madatat Babayan, Valuy of Beglaryan, and Erikk Gazarian.
