Thieves Enjoyed a Villa in Denizli for Days Before Disappearing
A couple from Germany, Ali and Hülya Eteke, returned home to their duplex villa in Denizli to find that it had been broken into by thieves who stayed in their house for days. The suspects took advantage of the couple being abroad and broke into the villa through a window, causing damage and consuming food and alcohol from the home. The thieves also stole electronic items worth a total of 6 thousand euros before disappearing without a trace.
When the Etekes returned home, they were shocked to find their house in disarray. Ali Eteke described the scene, saying, “Everywhere was a mess, and we realized that something was wrong as soon as we entered the house.”
The couple has notified the police and is urging for the thieves to be found and brought to justice. They shared their story in hopes of preventing similar incidents from happening to others.
