Thousands Left Without Gas in Surkhandarya After Vehicle Collides with Gas Pipeline

A car accident in the Denau district of Surkhandarya region has caused a disruption in the gas supply, leaving nearly 4,000 households and major consumers without gas. The incident took place in the early hours of October 18, when a vehicle collided with a high-pressure gas pipeline in the Olovuddin neighborhood.
As a result of the accident, the gas supply was immediately cut off, impacting a significant number of residents and businesses in the area. The local gas supply company has issued an apology to those affected and has assured them that efforts are underway to restore the gas supply promptly.
Emergency measures are currently being implemented to repair the damaged pipeline and resume gas distribution to the affected households and consumers. In the meantime, residents are advised to seek alternative arrangements for their gas needs until the supply is restored.
