The fugitive suspect in the attack on the Supreme Court of Appeals Public Prosecutor Necip Cem İşçimen in Kadıköy has surrendered to the prosecutor’s office, according to CNN Türk.
The incident, which took place at the exit of a parking lot in the Feneryolu Neighborhood, is currently under investigation. İşçimen was involved in an argument with two suspects, leading to the attack.
The fugitive suspect, identified as EG, who was responsible for beating İşçimen, turned himself in at the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. He was subsequently detained by the police and taken to the Public Security Branch Directorate.
The Istanbul Police Department teams, in their investigation into the attack, identified the suspects as EG and TTİ. based on the license plate information of the vehicle. TTİ., who was found to have insulted İşçimen, was also apprehended and released on judicial control by the authorities.
