Turkish Airlines Signs Agreement with Indigo for Maintenance Operations
Turkish Airlines has recently signed an agreement with Indigo for maintenance operations on their “Airbus A320 Neo” type aircraft. The agreement was finalized during the “Middle East 2025” Fair, according to a statement from the Turkish Airlines Press Consultancy.
Under this agreement, THY Teknik AŞ will be responsible for carrying out the landing team and back delivery maintenance operations of Indigo’s aircraft at Istanbul Atatürk and Sabiha Gökçen Airport facilities. This partnership aims to streamline the back delivery processes of Indigo and ensure that they are completed efficiently and on time.
Mikail Akbulut, General Manager and Board of Directors of THY Technical Inc., expressed his satisfaction with the strengthened cooperation with Indigo. He mentioned that the agreement reflects Indigo’s confidence in the quality of services provided by THY Teknik AŞ and highlighted the commitment to providing the highest service standards for the “Airbus A320 Neo” fleet.
Isidre Porqueras, Assistant General Manager in charge of Indigo Operation, also emphasized the importance of the partnership with THY Teknik AŞ in enhancing operational efficiency. He praised the technical expertise, support, and quick response time of Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., stating that they will play a crucial role in increasing operational productivity.
Negotiations are reportedly ongoing for a separate agreement regarding the maintenance operations of Indigo’s “Airbus A320 Neo” landing team. The collaboration between Turkish Airlines and Indigo is set to contribute to the advancement of Indian aviation to new heights.
