Obscene and Immoral Content on Tiktok Sparks Controversy
Recent reports have shed light on the issue of obscene images and immoral publications on the popular Virtual Media application Tiktok. Users are enticed to spend more time on the platform with the promise of making money, leading to concerns over the content being shared.
Through the use of digital agencies, Tiktok offers 24-hour uninterrupted broadcasts, drawing in users with the allure of monetary rewards. However, Marmara University Faculty Member, Dr. Ali Murat Kırık, has spoken out about the deceptive nature of Tiktok’s money-making scheme.
Dr. Kırık cautioned users to be wary of the exploitation of children and the promotion of inappropriate content on the app. He emphasized the importance of promoting educational material and protecting young users from falling victim to harmful influences.
Additionally, Dr. Kırık raised concerns about the abuse of children under the age of 18 on Tiktok and called for greater vigilance from regulatory bodies such as the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) in monitoring and addressing such issues.
As debates surrounding Tiktok’s content continue to escalate, it is crucial for users and authorities alike to prioritize the safety and well-being of all individuals, especially young and vulnerable members of society.
