Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat Engages with Business Leaders in London
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat recently held a series of important meetings in London, engaging with members of the MUSIAD (Independent Businessmen and Industrialists Association) and participating in events aimed at strengthening ties between Turkey and the United Kingdom.
During a visit to the Turkish Embassy in London, Minister Bolat welcomed MUSIAD members, emphasizing the significance of collaboration among Turkish businesspeople operating in the UK. In a statement on social media, he remarked, “We accepted MUSIAD London members in our Embassy. In our meeting, we discussed the work and cooperation areas of our business people and the common steps between Turkey and the UK for the future.”
Further highlighting the community’s integration, Minister Bolat attended a reception organized by the Turkish Embassy, which gathered Turkish citizens and business leaders residing in the UK. He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to connect with the Turkish diaspora, stating, “We participated in the reception organized by our Embassy in London and engaged with our citizens living in the UK.”
As part of his schedule, Minister Bolat also visited the Yunus Emre Institute Cultural Center, where he attended an exhibition organized by the Albayrak Group titled "Spirit Healing: Husni Hatn-ü Calligraphy." This exhibition showcased exquisite calligraphic works and included various interpretations of verses from the Holy Quran. Bolat thanked the Albayrak Group and the Yunus Emre Institute for their contributions, acknowledging the cultural exchange’s role in fostering understanding and cooperation.
Through these engagements, Minister Bolat aims to strengthen Turkey’s economic and cultural presence in the UK, paving the way for enhanced collaboration between businesses and communities in both nations.
