Traffic Jam on TEM Highway as Vehicle Catches Fire – Breaking News
A vehicle caught on fire on the Başakşehir TEM Highway side road in Istanbul, Turkey. The incident occurred around 22:00 in the direction of Edirne. The driver of the car noticed the fire and parked in the safety lane to try and extinguish it, but unfortunately, he was unsuccessful.
The vehicle quickly became engulfed in flames, prompting the dispatch of fire brigade and police teams to the scene. The police closed one lane to traffic as a safety measure while the fire was put out by the firefighters. Thankfully, there were no injuries or loss of life reported, but the vehicle was completely destroyed in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time. Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the reason behind the sudden blaze. Despite the dramatic event, traffic on the highway resumed after the fire was extinguished.
