Tragedy Strikes: Three Drown in Fergana Region
Three young people, including two minors, tragically drowned in an artificial reservoir meant for irrigation of agricultural land in the Altiarik district of the Fergana region on June 5th.
The incident has prompted an investigation by the prosecutor’s office, as confirmed by the PGO press secretary, Khayot Shamsutdinov.
In light of this tragedy, a message has been issued urging the public to adhere to safety guidelines and avoid swimming in prohibited bodies of water that may possess strong currents, great depths, or are unfamiliar to individuals.
