Tragic Accident Claims Göktuğ Alkan’s Life on Dipkarpaz-Yenierenköy Highway
25-year-old Göktuğ Alkan tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on the Dipkarpaz-Yenierenköy main road last night. The incident occurred at 23.40 when Alkan, driving towards Dipkarpaz, lost control of his vehicle and collided with another car coming from the opposite direction.
According to the police statement, Alkan’s vehicle crashed into barriers before hitting the car driven by 26-year-old Gamze Aydın. Unfortunately, Alkan succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Aydın and a passenger in her car, 25-year-old Yağmur Aydın, were taken to Famagusta State Hospital for observation and treatment.
